    Default Axle Weights so Close

    Hi All,

I have a 1.9CDTi SRi 150 facelift Vectra and my axle weights are:

    1065 and 985 (front, rear).

The springs LMF sell go up to 1060 then 1061 to 1130.

Because of my axle weights I expect I should go to 1061 to 1130 but is 5KG really that much and will my car sit too high with the stronger springs on?

What has everyone else done and have you had any problems?

    Cheers!

So you're saying the 966 to 1060 KG ones are right?

If it's fully laden then if it's only me and the Mrs in the car then I assume the above springs will be fine?

    Cheers!

Had a little discussion about this here. Considering the variation in passenger weight I can't imagine 5 Kg is gonna make any difference whatsoever and so really you have the choice of either and with a little expert help you will be able to make an informed choice......

Cheers for the link, I guess I'm going to have to ring them on Monday to see what they think!

5KG is less than a stone so I can't see it making much difference so if the Mrs gets fat I'll just get her on a diet and bring the axle weight down again!

1061+ kit is the right kit... if you get the lower weight rated kit, you wiil prob sit much lower on the front than the rear & could bottom out on bumps etc...
