Default Where Angels Fear To Tread.......

I have been meaning to cut the front bumper up for ages now, well I bought a Dremmel the other day so that I could get on with it this week end.

First I fitted my front splitter as I have been spraying it all week. (Bought from the Polish guy on flea bay, £47) I also bonded mesh behind the two slots to make it that little bit different. I managed to get the bumper off in the end but it took me about an hour. There were 14 rivets/screws holding it on. Once I had located them all and removed them the thing just would not pop off at the sides. After much swearing and pondering I got it off. I bonded the splitter on with Sikoflex and also put 8 self tappers in to be sure.

Then came the turn of the Dremmel, I masked the area to be cut out from the inside and then proceeded to cut out the two dummy vents. Once removed and smoothed up I painted the edges and cut the mesh to the right size. This was then bonded on from the inside with Sikoflex. Once all was complete, about four hours in all, I replaced the bumper and then took these phots. Please have a look and comment if you want.

I know its not everyones bag but if we were all the same it would be dead boring.....I like it anyway.
