Default How firm are B6 rear on 05 estate?

Have replaced stock dampers last year but so squishy.
The car is a v6 diesel estate with std vauxhall suspension - lowered as an ex police car.
Live in a rural area so lots of bumps. I dont want to go too hard on the rear but std too bouncy.
Are B6 shocks much harder or just a little harder than standard?

They're a little harder than SRi dampers but much more controlled

Thats interesting. On mine I have a set of rear dampers that are now the same on nearly every Vecy according to my local dealer. When going through the parts list they worked out that my SRi originals have been superseded about 6 times. The result is that they all have the same fitment (presumably talking about lowered suspension) - according to dealer.

That doesn't surprise me, the same B6 damper is specified for the saloon, hatch & estate although there is a difference between the estate & hatch/saloon when in comes to the B6 front strut.
