    Thumbs down Speaker Adapters.

So, we all need them to change our speakers for a set of decent ones.

I have some components that are just laying around on my floor not fitted. Problem being is the speaker adapters. These crappy pieces of plastic that are £15 for a pair, let alone i need 4x. So that's £30 for 30pence worth of shoddy plastic??? WTF?!!!

Is there an easy way to make these things?
I think this is ridiculous. Also hard to find the 6.5" for front and back for a Veccy C, think the Corsa ones will fit.

I didn't need any for my front speakers only the rear ones mate. You can make them out of MDF board.

Were they standard fit 6.5"s? Or Vauxhall Fitment?
Might just have to go and get a door card of and have a go.
Not really up for paying £30 total lol.

Front ones are 16.5 Infinity's raer are 16.5 Blaupankt. Both sets are components and are wired up to an Alpine 350watt amp to get the best out of them.
Front tweeters are where the originals are and the rear tweeters are palced where the electric window switch should go. Then it's backed up with an Alpine a1500watt mono amp running an Alpine 12" sub and an Alpine head unit that's got full control over my iPod.

At a guess I think the front door is slighty deeper than the rear one.Or it was just luck

I just thought i'd add, i got lazy and bought some adapters for SILLY money!!!
and you are correct, they do sit too far out and the door card doesn't fit flush anymore, not massively though, still a bit shoddy i think. :/
