    Default The siigy brakes are really grinding

    looks like there could be a problem with the front brakes on the signum

    started making a really bad grinding noise but it intermittent ,

    havent been able to have a look as stil had the problem of the sheared locking wheel nut key but friend managed to get that off for me today so will be investigating in the morning what is wrong

    one question what size are the front discs

    its a 3.0 cdti not sure if its the 302mm or 314 mm

    any help would be gratefuly recieved and if poss best place to buy them

    If its the 314mm then VX as you can get discs and pads for £65 trade club

    Mark, those disks and pads have never been changed. It came out of the factory with that set. They are the 314s too
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    thanks sean , thats not bad then 73k on one set of disc and pads

    and theres me thinking youd been riding the brakes like miss daisy

    Its had a hard life in my hands, but then again you don't need to brake all the time do you Mind you with 7 or 8 owners now its seen a few different people drive it

    The rears have never been touched either.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    just been to the dealers in luton to get the disc and pad set for the siggy

    brought front set and rear set and it came to a grand total of .................................................. ............................£119 including vat

    quite impressed with the price they were both basically £50 + vat with pension holders discout

    and as bit of a bonus i had ordered a second new locking wheel nut key, as the first one i replaced sheared first time i used it , and as i had ordered it over the phone i was due to pay for it when i picked it up

    it cant have been the person who i ordered it through that served me this morning as he just handed it over and didnt ask for the £19.76 that was due on it

    so roll on monday morning i can see no army trucks being worked on on monday
