    Default MOT failed :-(

    Well it failed the MOT today, i knew it would as my n/s/r spring has snapped but expected it to be replaced today BUT no they have'nt got one. So it will arrive tommorow, need to ask a mate for a lift to work now and then get him to take me to pick up the car lol.

    Get your springs upgraded, the rest will probably go soon. I have just changed mine for better ones

    Im getting it replaced under a warranty i got with the car but a set of eibachs i will get eventually.

    Should be replaced in pairs as they could end up being uneven esp if the replacement spring is a copy and not original GM part

    Angry Snap

    My signum (2006, 40,000mls)failed it's MOT due to a snap spring drivers side, so to that end as of December 2010 total costs of repair for my siggy is mounting up to well over a 1000 quid does it never stop numerouse problems with it rear bearings, erg valve and all fog light 55quid to replace nightmare my advice get rid I am

    p.s have this siggy form new been in vauxhall dealers 16 times for repairs NIGHTMAREEEEEEEE

    SwannyOO you cannot blame VX for the broken spring its due to the state of roads and this issue also affects over car brands. Your EGR valve gunking up is partly down to the low mileage you are doing, I have done 130k in a 2005 car and never had any issues with the EGR valve. Again other car brands have the same issues more so on low mileage cars as they are not getting regular good runs which helps keep the Valve clear. What else has happend to your Siggy for it to go into VX 16 times?
