    confused faded flame red

please forgive me as im sure its a re-post of several hundred times, i have taken the advice and headed over to detailing world and its all far beyond me, i thought i liked cleaning the car with simple clays ect but those guys really go to town!!

either way i need to restore the faded red on my vec c and the general advice seems to be that AG SRP would do the job but may not be abrasive enough for my needs so would megs ultimate compound (applied by hand as i dont have a polisher) be a better bet??
    im so confuzzled

To be honest, unless its very, very lightly faded you really need a machine (rotary/DA) to be able to restore it to former glories. Machines are quite cheap nowadays with rotarys starting at about £45 and DA's about £70.

You may find some member who lives near you with a polisher that could help.

I'm a newbie to mate but i would say some Dodo lime prime with a polishing pad on a machine polisher would bring it up looking new but best bet would be to pm either Parsco or Lump for some advise but machine polishing is the way forward else you will be there all day

yeah i did guess that but looks like a photoshop job, its looks a lil odd but i kinda like them with a gold hue, anyway can anyone recommend a cheap machine polisher?
I want it cheap but not awfully rubbish! and john.robertson2 did you achieve them results by hand or polisher?
I might pay parsco to detail the whole thing for me as he's so nearby?

Silverline Rotary polishers are probably the cheapest (and can achieve unbelievable results) but care needs to be taken with them, do that and you'll be fine.
