Still would'nt trust them, not even to change a light bulb!!!

They tried to convince my missus that her car needed a back wheel bearing after they replaced the exhaust, as there was a rubbing noise after, I had a look, and the exhaust that they had fitted was rubbing on the tyre. I took my car to them ,a Cavaliar to get tracking done, was told by the Kwik fit Fitter , that track rod ends were seized, and they could'nt be shifted, idiot did'nt realise that the track rod ends come off, one side clockwise , the other anti clockwise!!! total cowboys in my opinion.
As I said would'nt let them anywhere near my motor

i took the vectra to them once for the rear knocking, the guy checked it over and said nothink was wrong, i new there was changed the shocks and all sorted, and a friend of mine had a mk2 golf they fitted new brakes for him and when he was on motorway and he wanted to use his brakes and they wouldnt work he had to use the gearbox to slow him down called the RAC out and they took him back to them, but they claimed it wasnt there fault but they would do it as good will, good will my ass, i dont like going to them

All they would do is top it up. For it to be effective they would need to empty the system, vac it to get all the moisture out then refill. I doubt they would do all that for £25!!

Best bet (as I have said before) is to go to a fridge repair man. They will do it all properly and will use a better gas (R413a as opposed to R143a) - it will repel more moisture and will lubricate the seals better than the lower rated gas.

I have a chap locally who does mine for a poke of chips!
