    Default swirl bar fallen off

    hi guys i noticied that when i got my cdti 150 it wasnt very fat until 2k rpm it all drove well etc but i think it was turbo lag. however ive now had it remapped and it pull well from 1500rpm right through and at 3k rpm it feels even stronger but i just noticed the swirl bar is not the way it is its fallen off, does this mean my car is actually performing less than what it was or could it b ok.... like i said slower until 2k rpm but a rocket since mapped from 1500 rpm. ive read alot of post with this fault just need advice or shall i show 2 the dealer, should i change it or leave it.

    Even with the swirl bar off, it depends on whether the swirls were stuck open or closed that causes the faults..... yours seems OK at present, but without the bar (i.e. control) they can stick shut and you will have problems, its best to get it looked at/sorted sooner rather than later.

    yep no wories i think i shud the gys who did my timingbelt had a look and took it for a drive he said although its off the cars seems pretty quick.... iyl have it done after my m.o.t next month lol.. cheers mate
