    Talking I have just brought a 2.0 T!!!!!

traded in the vec 1.8 for it, pick it up next saturday!!! cannot wait! i know theyre highly praised on here, been half arsed looking for ages found a good one in watford, 04plate, 37k,

if anyone would be so kind though to answer me two very easy questions about the car,

    a. when is the cambelt due?? from the service book i can work out it needs changing at 4years or 40k? is that really true??

    b. its a bright flat red colour! i know not the best colour infact mayby the worst but its got a very very slight sun fade all over , how can i restore the colour?? i cant t-cut the whole car?? suggestions please

apart from that well happy, cant wait for the 80mile drive home sat morning!!!

I agree about not using t-cut as i used it on a mk3 astra sport i used to own, took the paint down to white without much effort.
