vxr front bumper

my new vxr front bumper has just arrived on friday! £520inc vat! for everything, i cant wait to get it fitted!

any1 else gettin this done to there motor? or had it done? just want to know any problems if any of gettin it fitted?

Done mine a couple of years ago now, and its one of the best Styling mods done, makes the car look so much better, its a straight fit and as far as i remember there were no problems, the SRi XP bumper came off and the VXR one went straight back on, did you get the wiring extensions for the front fog lights??

yes i got the part number from one of your threads so cheers for that! the foglamps where a bit of a joke, £92+vat they turn out there just valeo fogs that go on pritty much any thing, so i spoke to valeo & they gave me there part number, got the exact same fogs from dingbro for £21!

Could you maybe share the part no. that would be a big saving for our members wanting to fit the VXR bumper

yeah part numbers are:-
bumper top section - 9271527, lower section-9271528,tow cover-9271524,foglamp wire-9270158,foglamps-9270157 the valeo part for fogs are-088358,it even comes with the bulb! i payed £21 for my fogs because iv got an account, ford also do them for £33+vat, exact same!

Hoping to get mine done shortly, have all the bits now, including Opel badges. Just have to get my grill and lower skirt painted to match my upper xp2/vxr bumper

iv already got the opel stuff on my car! looks alot better than the griffon!

Are these the right ones for a Vxr it states 2005 onwards? i'm also looking into this mod

yeah thats it buddy, make sure u get the bulbs there h11, cost about £10-15 each! the valeo fogs i got came with them, also try & go for valeo any cheaper brand arent good, the seals are crap & get condensation easy!
