    Question pipercross viper induction kit?

hi all im a newbie on here and i am trying to get more power out of my 2.2 vectra c. i've already deristricted my airbox, got a k&n and a sports exhaust, as i've got a few quid left in my paypal account i am now considering buying a pipercross viper induction kit.
i've been told that normal induction kits are worse than a derestricted airbox and a decent filter but has anyone got any experience of the viper induction kit? i've read that the viper has it own cold air feed which is insulated from the engine heat by the carbon fibre shell but does this actually work on the vectra c and is it worth 200 notes?
thanks in advance for any replies

As long as you have a closed induction kit like the viper it will be fine. I have a bmc cda on mine and it is now definately more responsive than it was with the airbox. It has also got rid of a couple of little flat spots too!

I wouldnt pay 200 quid for a new one though, just get one off ebay 2nd hand and get the pipework seperately, will work out MUCH cheaper! Ive only got mine attached to the standard pipe at the moment as i havent quite decided where i will put it!
Edit: Heres a pic to show ya!

Not worth £200 over what you have already done mate. Although keep you eye on Ebay and just pick up a generic viper and just buy a silicone hose to fit it. I got a Cotton Green version for £20.

EDIT: Jlock beat me to it.
