    Default LEDs

So i ordered MTEC leds with the impression they wouldnt strobe... and they do maybe my car just doesnt like them.... thought i'd try them for the numberplates, but they strobed there too, be it without the warning light.... still... ive ended up putting them in the interior lights which I like too.... still they were only a few quid so cant really complain!

just going to have to find some non strobing ones for the side lights!

Get the mtec blue bulbs..http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MTEC-XENON-SUP...item56379b76d2 They look blue, but give a white light, look great! And give no warnings or strobing as they are normal gas filled 501 bulbs

Any standard LED lamp will 'strobe' when fitted in any position that is on the lamp check circuit.
The lamp check function sends a tiny pulse around all the checked lamps and measures the resistance on each. That pulse is too small to cause an incandescent lamp to react, however an LED requiring a fraction of the power of the equivalent incandescent lamp, WILL be seen to 'strobe' (if it's dark enough).

Most people wanting a whiter light from the sidies (often to match an HID upgrade) seem quite satisfied with the MTEC 501 lamps.

I think 501 is just the type of fitting. So try the standard glass, gas filled 501's as in the link above and post the results.

You get the 501 LED's and the 501 filament bulbs mate, as said 501 is just the type of bulb
