    Default 3.2 Gsi manifold blowing.

Bought my GSi yesterday but it had a slight rasp from the rear manifold area.

I havent really investigated fully to find out if its the gasket thats gone or if the flexi is past its best but I'd just like to know, how accessable is the rear manifold? Easy job to change the gaskets?

Good stuff. I'm quite handy with the spanners so shouldnt be too much of a problem.

It has a fair bit of mayo on the oil filler cap but I heard the 3.2's are prone to this?

Its not losing coolant and its only done 47k so I doubt its the head gasket.

The mayo in the cap is just condensation. To sort it, unscrew the tube the cap fits to then just fit the cap directly to the cam cover.

It will be the front exhaust flexi there bad for it. An exhaust shop will cut it out and weld in a new one for much cheapness.
