Couple of fault codes, what do they mean?

I have just read the fault codes on my car as I have a problem with lack of power (think this is the egr valve so gonna clean it in a mo) and the cruise control cutting out.

I had a number of codes (most not-present) so I cleared them all on only two have reappeared. They are baffling me, no idea what they mean:


P0621-01 Generator lamp "L" control circuit malfunction
B2966-05 Driver doorknob circuit open or high voltage

any one have any ideas?

I should have searched harder

I had a new alternator fitted before christmas. I guess this is probably the source of the "P0621-01 Generator lamp "L" control circuit malfunction" message

OK I also get the following codes that keep reappearing in the CIM:

B3700 - Wiper Interval Circuit Malfunction
(0F) - Not present

B3794 - Switch Cruise Control Circuit Malfunction
(08) - Not present
