Auto Lights

I have a prefacelift half canbus 2.2dti sri and was wondering does anybody know if I can have auto lights. I have the auto wipers and all the other things. Is it just a case of changing the light switch to an autolight one. Does it need tech 2 as well and are the switches model specific.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I saw that one on the LMF site but don't really want an extra sensor when apparently the autolights sensor is already built into the sensor at the mirror.
Does anybody know or has anybody done this mod?

I think I've read on here that its only possible if you change the wiring loom, the wiper sensor, light switch and the windscreen. The auto light sensor is part of a different type of rain sensor and wont work with the wrong screen, so it seems alot more work and money than its worth.
I'd like to be proved wrong tho as i'd like auto lights.

I'm not certain on the pre-facelift, but on the facelift version, the auto lights sensor is built into the rain sensor. the windscreen will need replacing to accomodate this. plus of course a new light switch.

He already has the auto wipers so probably already had the light sensor.

They have what looks very much to be the light sensor. A small round one just below and to the side of the rain sensor. Is that not it?
