2.2 Direct Recall - Engine Management Switch

My dealer has just been in touch and asked me to book it in for this. Anyone know what it is and what the problem might be?

Just picked up a Oct 2007 2.2 direct from a maindealer. Went through all the recent known issues with the Sevice Manager to make sure that there would be no unexpected surprises. We talked about cutting out issues.... pump and filter, handbrake problems and the well documented dry belts.

He said all these issues were now corrected and he was not aware of anything else outstanding.

Could you ask him for the Recall Number please. And when it came into effect? And what it is supposed to address?

there is a recall just released for the fuel pressure regulator worth taking it in for ..

Certain cars, i have an 06 2.2 direct and mine wasnt affected

However there is a customer courtesy scheme running where you can take your car in and they will test it i was informed by customer services
