    Default Wheel alignment

Does anyone know what the gages should be reading when doing wheel alignment?
This is on pre face vec c? Mine are currently reading 7 both sides. But the car still seems to be pulling to the left

just had new tyres. Shocks.upper and lower arms. So i know its none of them.

    0 +/- 10
However, that is front wheel toe only

I suggest you visit alignmycar.co.uk and get a full alignment check
Ask in advance what settings they will use
They should ask for your vehicle registration number, if not then they are using generic settings on the Vectra C (pointless / useless)

The main issue on the Vectra C is the rear camber, for some reason it seems to wander and needs readjusting quite often

My local agents charge between £60 and £80
That includes check and adjustment (it's not really possible to perform just a check, as the adjustment doesn't take very long)
Compare that to a dealership price of £35, which is front wheel alignment only!

Personally, it is £60 well spent, compared to £20 at National Tyres for just front wheel alignment (as that can leave the camber and rear toe still out)

I've just had a 4 wheel alignment and the passenger rear camber is way out but cant be adjust cos the adjuster thing has rusted.

Any ideas how big a job it is to replace the adjuster? cost of part & estimate of time?

the camber nut has probably rusted in postion - provided they havent rounded the head off plenty of plus gas and let it soak - then try to tighten a little then back it off - hopefully this will allow the nut to free off and allow the camber to be adjusted - the garage just didnt want to spend any time on somehting there not going to get paid for when they can just say - its siezed/rusted
