Just had my recently purchased 2006 2.2i auto in to a local garage today to try and rectify a fault with the tiptronic function on my auto-box. The tiptronic will only activate by holding the lever forward and this will simply hold the gear being used at the time. If you let go it just displays D and works as a normal auto. The garage has the top spec snap-on diagnostics and this points to the gearbox ecu. It programs up then when the car has driven a short distance it goes back to the fault as described.

Any veccy users had this before and is there anyone in the Lancaster area who can help me out. The display is showing normal and the gearchanges are normal with no jerking or slipping right through the speed range.
