    Default need some help please

ive just part exchanged my pre facelift vectra in for a facelift vectra 1.9cdti exterior pack and am looking to buy a vxr rear diffuser. vauxhall have quoted me £146 plus VAT. Looking at other threads, this seems a bit steep. Where else can i get it cheaper? and how does it fit onto the rear bumper - rivets? do you have to take the whole bumper off?

im looking to get the V grille colour coded with the rest of the car. do i have to buy a new one ready primed or has anyone had theirs sanded, primed and re painted? has it worked?

    all advice is appreciated

    cheers

Is it a vxr exhaust insert you are looking for? It should be about45-50 quid although not that easy to fit if you have the xp kit

    the grill can be done....

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...our+code+grill

looks good i think...think its a case of sanding it down with very high grit wet n dry, prime and paint? no doubt someone will correct me if i'm wrong!

VX do the paint in spray cans so can get that from there..

Yeah, thats the VXR Insert which is about £45 from Vauxhall - they have quoted you for the VXR rear valance instead.

ive talked to a few garages/repair places and they say the only problem using the chrome grille already is that, after sanded, primed and painted, if it gets a cheap and water gets in, it could all flake off

You already have the rear lower diffuser (part of the xp kit). Thats the bit that runs around the whole of the lower bumper, the insert is the bit around the exhausts
