Indicator Bulb Blowing

About a month ago i had my front nearside indicator bulb blow, i have since replaced it with a brand new bulb but the dreaded "turn signal lamp" message appeared on my screen on the way to work, after checking it when i got to work it seems that the same bulb has gone again! is there anything i could check that could be causing it? could it just be the new bulb was faulty?

Hi guys, just thought i would post up the answer to my own problem incase anybody else finds themselves in the same situation.

After my indicator again stopped working i decided to investigate, below is the contact inside the nearside headlamp for the indicator bulb!!

No wonder it wasnt working! i refitted the bulb holder but only turned it part of the way so the bulb is still making contact and has been fine since for a week and a bit, when i "click" the bulb holder into position the bulb doesnt work as obviously there is a bit missing.

Can get one of these contacts from somewhere and just crimp it onto the cable the same was as the old one is? could i fill the missing bit with solder?
