Just had to renew my drivers licence (photo was 10 yrs old) and was looking over the new one and I see that I can drive B, BE, C1, C1E, D1, D1E, f, k, l, n, p.
I checked them out and a couple of queries jumped out :- -
In the dim and distant past I thought that if you passed your test in a manual - it entitled you to drive a manual AND an auto. But if you passed in a auto, you could ONLY drive an auto. If this is still the case (I passed in a manual) why dont I have B + auto on my licence? The description of B in the leaflet doesnt refer to an auto anywhere so from my licence - I cant drive an auto!!! Anyone able to clarify?
The other thing is the l and n. What are these for? Cant see anything noting what they are and would be interested to see what else I can drive.
I am VERY relieved to hear that I can drive a lawnmower
