Door Speaker Replacement Easy?

Hi,

Just about to pick up my Vectra C from Perrys Vauxhall, when I test drove the car the speakers sounded blown (all wooly and distorted) I tried the EQ controls but no joy. Perrys would not fix them as part of the sale, they did fix the broken back light, heater motor and dint in door though, I think I was pushing it asking for the speakers to be done.

Does fitting require a complete door strip or can you just pop off the grilles?

I intend to fit standard speakers into the door with or without adapters, I hear that Pioneer do some.

Theres a 'HOW 2' on this site...if i knew how to do a link i would.

Took mine offf on Sst to change door straps. Took approx 15 minutes..
