People who have this double din unit, what place did you put your mic for the telephone? I have mine near to the interior light, but I have the wire half trapped in the plastic trim. I noticed today I had a little stattic when I phoned my girlfriend in my car, so I am looking to move the mic to a better place. Do I need to change any settings for the phone on the headunit? Cheers

Still waiting to get a trim to finish it off......

    Hey Mark,

Glad to see you got it sorted. Looks smart.

I used a bit of sticky tape, and it sits in the gap between the roof lights and rear view mirror.

I havent had any problems with it yet. and unless you know its there you cant even see it

Cheers, I have jammed the wire in the plastic trim the alarm mics are in. Thats why I might be getting that static, so I don't want to jam it in any place. I will look into the stick tape trick, just hope it sticks lol

Stick it where Vauxhall put their one mate, that's what I did. In between the alarm sensors there is a little slotted grill, put it inside that so the microphone is facing the slots. No visible microphone that way either

Image nicked from Ebay, this one...
