Has anybody had a remap done by DCP tuning? LINKY
They come to you and:
The technician on the day can alter the maps to suit you, ECO or just power. Best of both can also be applied. The remap will provide the extra torque low down & a real turbo feel once the turbo is in (from 2,000 RPM up), characteristics of the turbo can be altered to suit your driving style. We have mapped many variants of the CDTI's & are familiar with safe power & gaining the drivability you want. Our tech will explain more on the day of mapping.
Disabling the EGR is not something we do through the software, the would have to be blanked off manually.
Power levels vary dependant on the vehicle condition but overall you can expect the following:
- Gain approx 40 bhp over standard/stock.
- Gain between 40 to 50lb ft of extra torque.
- Fuel efficiency all round (2 - 5mpg extra).
- Better driveability, lighter pedal feel, sharper throttle response.
- Low down power, eliminating flat spots.
The duration of time to carry this work will vary between 1 - 2 hours, in this time you car will have a full engine diagnostic/roadtest pre and post installation of the remap. The remap will transform you car, giving it all round better driveability, power and fuel efficiency. It really makes does big difference over the standard feel of the car. Note that we can come out to you to carry out the work as we have fully trained technicians out on the roads.
The quote is £240 all in (and they come to me any day of the week). I want to make sure I'm not being done here
