    Default Detailing Tape

Does anybody know of a highstreet store that sells this? I can only seem to find it on ebay.

    Thanks all

Do you mean the 'blue' masking tape? I have never found any real difference between the blue or white tape, or between any brand for that matter.

The blue stuff you can get at B&Q

Yeh the blue stuff. Surely the stuff you get from B&Q is electrical tape and a little too sticky? i have loads of electrical tape.

Ive tried masking tape but it doesnt stick and comes straight off, didnt want to use electrical tape with it being realy sticky.

    B&Q. As said.
Low tack decorating tape (3M). I use it myself occasionally.

I have used the basic masking tape from B&Q/Focus too.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

The blue tape was originally brought out for spray painters as when we started using water based paints water can make normal masking tape 'orrible!

The blue (clever eh) stuff came out to combat this. I think the detail boys use it as you use water I'm led to believe to wash cars. Well so I've heard.
