Windscreen needed

Hi All,

I new on forum and I need some advice.
I have noticed that on my windscreen there is chip and 7'' crack.
So this needs to be replace.
Any idea where to do this? What might be a price? My car is in Wales close to Cardiff, but I dont mind travel to get if fixed.

Forgot to mention, that my insurance dont cover that

If you have fully comp insurance then it should only cost you your £60-80 excess

check your insurance and call them, they will come to you

and generally when screens are removed they tend to become weakened at the edges and crack anyway ....so i wouldnt want to fit a second hand screen unless you were really desparate

Why won't your insurance cover a screen? Never had a policy that won't.

You may as well just go to www.yell.com and type in what you want and your area, then pay a few 100's for a new one.

Don't go to autoglass... I had an 58 plate astra sri and got quoted £770 for a new windscreen..... luckily insurance convered it!

The guy at autoglass even said there 4 x the cost that others are! avoid!
