    Default Leak Off Pipes???

I have been reading a forum where these have been mentioned as a possible cause of poor starting. Can someone explain where they are and how to check them for leaks. I have a 1.9 cdti 120bhp.

Thanks, thats great! One other question, my car has done 35k, is there any time span for renewing these or just the poor starting?

Hi mate i dont know much about 19 cdi but reading on this forum about poor starting it seems there are a few things you can check by making a short list , starting with cheapest remedy first of course.

I have seem on one of my posts you replied ...thanx mate.

you have already changed your glow plugs so that can be ruled out.

have you had your car codes read recently ?
EGR and Boost valve cleanied ?
Does your car give out a grey white smoke on first start up ? if yes it could be that your leakoff pipes need changing or it could be your injector seals, the injector seals are the expensive cure

Oh another thing with diesel cars make shure your battery is in very good condition, your car can turn over but if theres not enough cranking power it will not start, i had this problem not too long ago, my battery showed as being fully charged but it still wouldnt start my damn car, i bought a new one and yey no problems since. ( looking around for wood to touch ) PMSL

No doubt someone on this site will help you more than i can, i hope you get it sorted mate.

    Steve.
