My System!

Hi all,

Here's some piccys of my system, will get a piccy up of my headunit soon too.
Next plan is to build a Car PC and buy a Touchscreen Motorised Display for it.
Also need to install my components that i have been lazy with and not installed yet. Need the adapter's

Just thought i'd share some piccys as i enjoy looking at everyone elses system, maybe they would enjoy mine lol.

2 amp's, one for the 4x components, and one for the 2 Alpine 10" type R sub's.

I could clean the wires up a little but no-one really ever see's them hehe.

Get a good ported box made for them alpines mate. Youll be amazed by the diference!

Some subs don't like them but i guess it can't hurt if i try, can always swap back and sell the box. I shall look in to that.
I upgraded from a 12" Vibe Blackair 2+ 1600w peak/500w rms in a Vibe built ported box and that was louder and more impressive than the sub before that which was a InPhase XT12 (the home-modded ports let the InPhase down) but these Alpines blow the nuts off both of them. If i can get them louder and more responsive with a ported box i shall be amazed yeah!

Sealed boxes sound tighter whereas ported sound louder but you need to get the box volume and port size and length right otherwise it won't work properly. According to Alpine a sealed box should be 0.5 to 0.8cuft and a ported box 0.6 to 1.25cuft for that sub, they should have come with a spec sheet to help.
