Default Where to start...... So many questions!

I have now had my first vauxhall ever for 3 weeks (after 38 years of driving) in the form of a 2007 2.2 direct SRi (XP2 ?) in Flame Red.

My recent cars have all been modded in varying degrees and I am looking forward to a few more changes to what is already a stunning looker.

I have so many question but not to burden folks with too many at a time can anyone help with the following.

What is the difference that I should see between xp1 and xp2. ?.....

My centre console has the removable blanking plate below the alarm indicator on the r/h side of the info system with a blue connector behind it. Is this ready for the traction switch?......

I read somewhere (but can't find it now) that chrome bezels were easy to fit round the existing fog lights (not the complete thingy's) but 5 minutes with a slotted scredriver. Am I dreaming this or is it correct. What parts do I shop for. ?.......

    Thanks...

I think the signum chrome fogs are a bumper-off job on facelift, not sure though as I have them already. Search the forum for "facelift signum chrome" or something similar and you should find how2/info/partnumbers.

I have a feeling that it won't work, other than light up and replace the blank- it doesn't work with many facelifts, search "traction control switch" and there's a huge thread, and at the end I've posted a list of people who've tried and whether it worked for pre/facelift and what engine.

    Also; post your car!

XP2 has the steering wheel and gearknob from the VXR. The front skirt is slightly different as are grilles which came from the Signum parts bin.

Aux in to the CD70 was added around October 2007 but I saw ages ago an XP2 on here which didn't have it.

The XP1 had 19" snowflakes as standard but they were a £450 upgrade on the later model. 18" are standard.

There's a picture of them in this thread.
