    Default Flat spot help needed

    I drive a 2.0dti since i put a tunit box on i notice a real bad flat spot just at 2000RPM til 2500 RPM really notice it in 4th gear is this the air flow meter or boost pressure sensor

    Could be anything tbh, bust hose, egr valve jamming open, clogged boost sensor and pretty much anything else.

    Have you removed box to see if that resolves the issue could be as simple as the engine doesnt like the box.

    try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes so the ecu learns the new setup

    have had it on the computer and boost pressure sensor came up on it and it does make a swirly noise when i turn the car offV

    Does the flatspot go when you remove the tuning box? pressure sensor faults are common with boxes fitted as the ECu sees the higher fuel pressure as a fault and tries to raise boost level accordingly but cant and gives an implausible signal that triggers the fault code. This is true for most DTI engines, not necessarily the vaux 2.0 DTi, just a suggestion.
