Default Aftermarket Unit or Parrot MKI9200

    Hey everyone,

Off to pick up my new 2008 Vectra 1.9CDTI SRI tomorrow and have a dilemma on my hands.

The cars fitted with the dreaded CD30 which im aware doesn't have any option of an AUX input so im looking at other options. Ive done a good search on here and see the Parrot MI9200 as an interesting option. I like the fact i can connect my ipod and play it through the car speakers, have my ipod information on a small display all controlled through a wireless remote and also the fact it charges my ipod too. The other option im looking at is the Kenwood DPX-303 which a member on here has already. if i was to go down the Kenwood route i would be looking to add the additional bluetooth and ipod cable.

The questions i have are which options would everyone say is best ?. My biggest concern with the Parrot is the 20watt amplifier. Is this any good ? What's the quality actually like compared to the standard amplifier in the CD30. I cant see 20watts being enough power.

Obviously the Kenwood option would give me far better sound quality than the Parrot and standard CD30 but i would loose steering controls, screen display and the additional display the Parrot offers.

Decisions decisions whys nothing ever easy!!!???

ive got an mki9000 fitted to the standard cdr2006 and the sound quality is substantially better than the head unit via the parrot when playing an ipod and the volume is significantly loud enough for me as well
