    confused Dmf replacement

    The time has come to replace the dreaded DMF!!! and clutch but finding one for my 3.2 gsi at a reasonable price is proving very difficult can anyone point me in the right direction please.

    It looks good for the clutch and will have to bell them about DMF as not listed. thanks

    i needed a slave cylinder(well made sense to get both) got one from a2b vauxhall on ebay shoulda been 60 quid offered him 45 and he took it,couldn`t find any cylinders cheaper,just looked an he got some more if ya stuck for one

    The best price i can get for the duel mass flywheel is £431 delivered can any one beat that.

    My 2005 55 plate vectra sri cdti150 27000 miles has gone in to have a new duel mass flywheel main dealer tell me could cost up to £1500 not happy

    Going get the dealer to give me the parts that they take out then take photo’s and send with a letter to Vauxhall do anyone think they mite help.

    Get a solid flywheel. DMF,s in cars with high torque are notorious for destructing early. Its a problem so common with the TDCI Mondeo you can actually buy a solid flywheel kit for it.
    If there is not a kit available get a reputable company to fabricate a lightened flywheel. It will be solid and enable your car to accelerate faster to boot.
    Should cost no more than £250.

    Yeah a guy at work had the same issue, the DMF was flicking bit's of iron filings into his starter motor as it started to break up. The motor eventually failed and that's when the prob was diagnosed

    Ive just bought a sachs dmf brand new never used £100....got it offa lad a work hu bought it for his car but sold the car and kept the dmf....
