    Default HID buying advice needed

Right, a question that's been asken a million times but i'm looking for personal experiences.
Last night i was driving down a country road and came to realise just how awful the standard headlight are on my SRi. HID time!
Now, my car is a full canbus 05 SRi so i know i'll have problems with the lights in the first place (warning light etc) and i know i can buy kits for it off the shelf but i'm too much of a tightwad to pay £90 for some thing if i can get it cheaper (the HIDs i had on my Astra coupe i got new for £25 off eBay!).
So my question is what's the cheapest kit anyone on here has used without any warning lights coming on or any other problems (flicker etc)?

    Ta.

my car is an 08 so full canbus too and got these http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-con...its-p-445.html

remember to mention vec-c and they will give you 10%off and free next day delivery

Yo! I just fitted my £38 Ebay hids and £8 error cancellers on a pre-facelift 2004 Half canbus LS and all is good. (after they exchanged a faulty canceller) Think i might need some alignment though as they're pointing a bit at the floor.

Does your steering wheel have the round buttons on it or the click wheels?

Also, do you have a link to the seller on ebay?

I went with these also, fitted them a couple of weeks ago.

Absolutely no problems with them so far, and my goodness what a difference.

Got the 6000k kit, and they look very blue compared to the bulbs i have been using.......which is more a reflection on how watery yellow my lights were before.

Dont even have to use full beam anymore, even in deepest darkest West Lothian
