Good Mileage As A Cab

Hey again

I'm pretty new on here still, but just wanted to mention my first Vectra.

A Bamboo Green 1.8 petrol saloon on a 52 plate(yes i do like petrols). I operate my own cab co and bought this on 17k. 2 years later she had done 128k

. Other than usual cambelt/brakes/servicing etc all that i did was an o/s/f wheel bearing!

My (new) Vectra is a licenced cab so i'm hoping for the same standard.

Just wanted to say well impressed that's why i have gone back to one

I am interested in this Bamboo green, as i am sure its the same as mine!! iirc mine is known as Jade green.

It is a nice colour that. Dare i say it but my private car's colour is Chameleon, a 24v Probe

It flips between purple/blue and grey.
You'll all not talk to me anymore now i guess

Can beat that mileage! 1992 Cavalier 1.8 LS ( petrol ) purchased in 1996 at 82k, to be used for private hire. Double manned for three years, and on the road virtually 24 hours a day.
Sold in 1999 at 426k, tired but still going strong. Serviced every 6k. One clutch, 57 oil and filter changes, 19 spark plug changes etc that I did whilst I had it! No major part failures at all.
Best car I've ever had.
