    Default Squeaky Heater Fan-Advise Please

I have just fitted the new heater resistor and have all 4 speeds now, thanks for all previous advise on that.

However i have an annoying squeak now, most noticeable on 1. Is there anything i can get to to oil/lubricate it?

I also notice the heater controls don't function on just feet only. I get a small draft on the feet, but most goes to the screen even though it's on feet only(turned right across to right). When i turn the control to alter the direction i can hear it moving, but no noise when i turn to just feet only. Any tips would be great thanks.

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

Could be a servo motor that is no longer working. They are located behind the panels in the footwells in the centre of the car. Remove the pollen filter and try to put a few drops of oil in there the bearings are located. Its probably a bit rusty from water ingress thats likked the resistor pack.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

WD40 isn't really an oil, its a penetrant spray. 3in1 is better
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

And i still have 4 fan speeds.

    Cheers.
