how can you tell the difference between the 120 and 150bhp. does the sign on the car CDTi have anything to do with it? 120 is silver, but the 150 has Ti in red? does anyone know cos me and the car garage don't have a clue.
cheers, george

There are numerous threads on this exact subject - you might find a few using the 'Search Threads' feature upper right in most pages.
I believe the 120 has the oil filler on the left front corner of the engine and the 150 has it mid right, but I'm sure someone who actually owns an oil burner will be able to be more accurate than I .
Badges can be deceiving, I'm sure there are plenty of unscrupulous persons who've stuck a red 'Ti' badge on a 120.
Easiest way is as Andy says; pop the bonnet and look for the oil filler cap. 120 is on the front left, 150 is on the right.
one is a good reliable engine and the other is a constant headache
120ps all the way
Only in so much as the 2.6 and 3.2 are basically the same engine...
120 is 8v - 150 is 16v
150 has loads of common faults going on posts by owners - dont really ever see posts about 8v 120.
i think the 150 is the better engine i have one and touch wood it has not had the egr or swirl problems i have done a flywheel and starter under warrenty and thats it
Easiest way, pop the bonnet, 120 has 2 torx screws holding the black cover on, 150 doesnt.
