Default Yellow light under the fuel guage

    Hi Everyone,

please help yesterday when i was driving home I saw my yellow light had come on!!
Its under the fuel guage and looks like a engine block.
I Looked at the manual(p102/194) it says emissions ???

Please help!! Asked the Stealers to check it they said £55 for half an hour.

I did service the car last weekend but havent changed the spark plugs, if that helps.

How do I find out what the problems is and cost?
How do i reset the light?

    Help!!

    Jav

See if you can do the pedal trick - mentioned in the how2 section.

Once the fault has been rectified, the light should go out of its own accord.

If it is the engine warning lamp, it means that there is a problem / fault with your car. You need to get the fault read, but don't need to go to VX for this to be done. Most generic fault readers will be able to retrieve it, and without the fault code it is almost impossible to know what the problem is

Invest in a fault code reader, i have just bought a U480 off ebay for £20 new, will give you any fault codes registered and you can clear them as well. Comes with a book thats full of fault codes and description.
