I am after the actual VX labour rates, probably from TIS
What can take the "average joe" 0.5 hours is typically charged for a minimum 1.0 hours by VX

I need to get my nearside rear replaced, as it has clearly failed, so both rears will be replaced
    Getting some quotes tomorrow

Sadly can't claim on the AA Brekadown warranty, unless I can come with some kind of excuse, policy wording "An AA patrol must attend to the breakdown"
Perhaps park after work on Tuesday, then phone them up "There is a large amount of oil at the back of the car, I need it examined before I proceed with my journey"

Two quotes from dealerships, £290 and £295, in effect £150 per side, obviously both sides would be replaced
I make that about £70 and 1.5 hours labour per side
