    confused Wiring help please?

    Hi guys i have just got 2 headrest monitors but am unsure of the wiring. The monitors have 3 wires and 2 rca, can anyone confirm if i have te wiring correct...

    positive from monitor to batt
    Ground from monitor to ground point
    Switch power from monitor to pground on back of dvd hu

    Sounds about right.. but is there no feeble diagrame to give a small clue ?

    Have you tried google-ing your headrest monitor's for an installation manual or user guide.

    I have managed to find most manuals have some connection instructions in them, and if you go to the manufacturers webpage, then most will let you download a manual in pdf format.

    Hope this helps...

    Worked a treat for me in the past for Nokia bluetooth kits and alpine radios etc.

    will the Switch power from monitor not be the power ant wire to trigger the monitor like u do a amp?

    That sounds right to me, although i did blow my 1st TV i hard wired into my astra...

    when i fitted mine it had three cables red,black and green the red and black tap into the rear cig lighter (so you cant leave the monitors on when the car is turned off) the green is a ariel so the monitor can transmit the sound by FM to the car HU,
    i have fitted 3 sets of these so if you send us a pic of the monitirs you got and the wiring i might be able to shed some light on it for you

    Thanks for the help guys. im going to give it a go next weekend. see where it gets me. i5aces, the monitors dont have speakers, they are ones on ebay from japan
