    confused What is ECU Re map mean??

    mabye it will sound silly but i don't know what it is. Can somebody explain please guys. My knowlage of cars is realy small from technical point of view. thanks

    The parameters that the programming on the Electronic Control Unit is set to. I.e., this much fuel into the cylinders at this RPM, this much boost, etc etc. A remap changes these parameters, and works because the guy who writes the remap has been able to find out how much more fuel/boost/power etc each engine component can take - this info is usually supplied to the car manufacturer by the component manufacturer.
