    Default Twanging suspension when turning

My drivers front spring twangs when turning. This started after I fitted 45mm lowering springs with SRi shocks.

I thought it was going to be a case of fitting the sleeve to the bottom of the spring, but it turns out that the top bearing is goosed.

Can anyone advise the cheapest place to buy a replacement, please?

Also, is there a specific way around it fits? It didn't look like it when I swapped them.

also ck that its not the torque screws holding the top mount hitting the springs

just undo one at a time and put a couple of washers under them .
might save you changing the top bearings

Can that really cause the problem?

Its strange, as it only happened after I lowered the car.

Geez. When the steering wheel was turned I watched the bearing and it looked as if it was trying to rip itself apart. I could see the bearings inside it.

Ahh well. If its got itself into that state I'll fit the new one anyways.
