i think its the coolant level warning light!
Go to the stealers and get the right stuff for the job mate, the red stuff
I bought red one concentrate. Should I mix it with normal tap water or distilled water?
Any specific information I should know before I do it tomorrow?) You won't believe, I will do it first time for 5 years, never faced it before
Normal water is fine...
distilled or ionised water was only used in the old days for topping up batteries before sealed for life items became the standard part.
Read the back of the container..it may suggest anywhere between a 20 to 50% mix.
Most bottles tell you what todo anyway.
Only important thing..make sure you put it in the correct header tank at the back of the engine bay.
NOT in the oil filler or window wash bottles...yes I have heard of both being done!!
Thanks! Hope I have found the right tank
Should engine be cold or.....?
My warning light comes on after I have driven for a while but it does not affect the perfromance of the car. The engine coolant is at the correct level and the light goes out after I switch off and restart the engine.
What could be the problem?2018-08-10 16.09.32.jpg
Well.....for starters.
Don't jump on someone elses thread and post your own issue...... especially a thread that's over 8 years old.
You'll get virtually nowhere.......but it does show you've been searching.
Start up your own thread and you'll get places.
Now, to your warning light.....that's not the coolant light...........that's engine oil light matey.
I will put some oil in the radiator when I get home. I feel that I’m being told I’m a ejit by someone who is so not an ejit according to himself.
I dont normally react to a** holes but I take an exception this time.... matiee
