How long till i can keep it

Hello all

just some advice please my sister orderd her husband some things for his car new trims ect they sent the wrong items when my sister rang them to change the items they where fine the items have now been changed but the first lot they sent are still there (she paid cash) so was wondering how long till she can claim them????

I'm sure you have to give them 30 days notice to collect and if they dont then they are yours them but don't quote me on that

see the sales rep was up here on a stag do soo he said he would drop them off i said what about the wrong items he said he has a relative in the area he will collect them ...but that was about a month ago i know it sounds nasty but i hope they have forgoten about it lol

If you take 'ownership' of them without the company's permission you are effectively stealing them.

After a reasonable period of time, I would write to them and inform them that unless they are collected within xxx time, then you will dispose of the items.

im not stealing them they where given by the sales rep and i asked what was happening with them he replied he will get them picked up this was some time ago

Something similler happened with a mate of mine. Bought a set of wheels an tyres an one was slightly damaged. The company said they would send a replacement wheel but they delivered a full set again with tyres. He kept quiet an sold a set on.
