Did you know in Sweden rear facing seats are law upto about 3 or 4....watch the video to learn why!
Be warned though that rear facing seats are expensive.....But do you want your little ones head to detach from the spinal cord in the event of an accident....
We put both our daughters in a Maxi Cosi Cabriofix baby seat from new born (in the vec). We had the seperate Isofix base - could not fault the seat and base at all - top quality and very light. Comes top in all safety tests as well.
Cant recommend it enough!!
We have therefore bought them both the next stage Maxi Cosi Seats (Tobi) and they are both very comfy and happy in them!!
The "Black Reflections" colour scheme suits the vec Sri interior perfectly!
what i was thinking is buying on of them Maci cosi sits and iving it to my m8 whos a very good sawing machinist a she can colorcode it to match up to vectra sri... that would be a very good mode for my veccy hehe... thank guys for good response... By the way that Easyfix base is so expensive!!! WOW! 140 quid just for base!
My little girl will be arriving in aprox 16 days (if shes on time) and I have been practising putting the car seat in and out. Felt a bit of a wolly but you got to know what you're doing right?! We were given an ISO-FIX travel system without any instructions but its a piece of cake to connect the base and connect/dis-connect the car seat to the base. Better than faffing with seat belts!!! My Vectra-C is a Nov 2002 so all Veccys should have the ISO-FIX connection.
I dont think i have isofix in the back of my 03 Vec.???
