    Default tried a honda type r /f2n

    i drive a vectra oil burner sri 150,and my mate said try my honda type r out , so we go on a private road to test it out. well i change gear miles to early.so we start again and he says,only change when you hit the limiter my god ,do the v-tec engines rev (red line starts at 8,000 revs ) wow- car was a 57 reg civic type r /f2n- still

    yeah, I had an acura GSR (1.8L vtec here in the states) and it would rev to 8000 easily. The motor was great, especially when it opened up the secondary butterfly valves around 5 grand when vtec kicked in. Sounded great.

    Sold it though (about 2 weeks ago) and moved into my Aura. time to be a little more grown up.

    You have to rev the .... off them to get the power though.

    and revving the ....... off makes a loud noise which attracts attention and makes for polite cabin conversation= via a loud hailer

    like the descreet silence of a signum cruising and being able to talk to someone

    Yeah, which is why I hate them... but do like the engineering of the VTec.
