    Default Wheel squeel

Did my drop link yesterday and the car was fine on a test drive. Just noticed today that there is a real squeel coming from the front wheels. Not sure exactly where but it is quite high pitched. Its like a loose brake pad but the noise doesnt disappear when I bash the brakes. Found that the noise is there when I am going straight or turning left - when I turn right there is nothing.

Could it be a wheel bearing? What money is in that? Could I tighten up the driveshaft nut? Dont think changing the drop links would affect anything like this.

Check the brake disc shield/ guard isn't touching the disc you might have moved it without realising it when you did the droplinks, if it's touching just bend it away a bit.

as the old cruiser said. also you might have dropped some rubbish into the brake area like grit or a small stone something like that

    ahhhhh - thats it.

Remember cleaning some dirt and dust off the strut and it must have fallen into the brakes.

    do'h

    Cheers

I hate any kind of squeak/squeal/rattle in a car and when I hear one I always think the worst.
