if a bodyshop does them will it looks good? or just the same like you said new paint going ext to old paint?
body shops can do very good things with paint, for starters they use a compressor and a proper spray gun so the finish will be perfect, if it was me just give them to a body shop to do proply for you as you wont be happy with the rattle can look, sorry if i appear to be blunt but im just saving you the time and dissapointment

save your money m8 and look out for a breaking car in the same colour.

sorry to be blunt but its the best advice you will get.

sprayed 1 of my handles the other day and the paint match is spot on you cant tell the difference,, you know the drivers handle you know the little part (with the lock inside) does that come out just like the rest of the handles??? and has anybody fitted a passenger cap for the drivers lock so its deadlock sort of thing?????

I've sprayed a few bits in the past using spray cans (mainly motorcycle bits), but I always come unstuck at the lacquering stage. It generally goes all bubbly. Does this mean I'm putting it on too thick?
Every coat of paint or lacquer needs to be as thin as possible - 12 thin coats in total is much better than 4 thick ones. But the job isn't finished after the last coat of lacquer. Let the paint harden for a week or two, then use a fine cutting compound, (not T-Cut, as it's not fine enough), then polish it.

Handles you should be fine as there small so less reflective panels so wont spot a non perfect colour match as much... (although its harder on lighter cars)

I've done loads of bits on other cars with rattle cans up to headlight size, but when i once smoothed in my lower rear splitter into my bumper and sprayed that, I instantly regretted the time and effort

Go to any decent body shop parts suplier and ask for "G6" compound for best finish after lacquer...
