    Default Faking a VXR

    OK, dont think i can afford a VXR front bumper... so if i got an SRI front bumper.. would i be able to achieve close to a vxr look by adding bits ?

    or do i need to save up more ?

    got the back end done.. exhaust and bumper.. just need a rear bumper valance thing to add on

    At least if im doin my car up im not in town gettin into trouble wiv the **** heads

    There is a chap on here selling a vxr lower skirt, I don't know whether that will fit straight on but may well do mate.

    You can 100% fit a VXR honeycombe grill and a colour-coded V !

    Yeh, iv done the coloured V ... just need the VXR grille then. and probably get the chrome fog surrounds.

    The VXR grill does set it off. Some have fitted the lower VXR grill too, but I think it involves a bit of bending or cutting and gentle persuasion lol

    If I remember, think Bethan39 managed to do this, looked good.

    Thats it ... cos i been offered a rubbed down and primed SRI bumper for £90 so fink ill get it and do it this way. The original VXR bumpers are a little too expensive

    yeah i made that mistake i bought a vxr front lower bumper and it did not fit on my sri so i bought a i think its called a xp lower skirt it fits onto your existing sri lower bumper looks nice
