    Default cig lighter mod and quick clean...

    got round to doing the cig lighter mod yesterday (removing it and adding 12v power socket) how much of a pain was it to get the old lighter socket out ,and before you ask i did clean up alll the old tabacco from around the trim . Then gave the old girl a clean....

    Looks much better, I might do that mod myself as I don't smoke

    Looking good mate... would be good if there was a replacement trim piece that totally blanked the hole off though

    If the 12v socket has been used for lighting cigs, then the centre contact tends to get burnt and can cause all sorts of bad connection problems with accessories.

    Your better off replacing the old gigarette lighter with a new accessory socket.
